HeartMade is located in Athens, Greece.
In the beginning it started as small personal business of the artist which created gifts for friends and family.
As people embraced the paintings with enthusiasm, the need for a high-street shop lead to carefully selecting shops to sell the paintings to more people than the relatives. With time, the needs of the small business grew and the business had to grow as well, in order to keep up with the high expectations and maintain the professional status and high quality of the products, which lead the artist to abandon the one-woman-strategy and expand by collaborating with friends.
This also gave the artist the time and peace of mind to focus on what she does best... create!, while the new members of the team have the time and energy to expand the business, by looking for new points of sale, organizing the e-shop and the production, and targeting new countries to export the products.
Each and every prototype is still carefully hand-painted by Maria, who is also adding the lights and is creating each and every final product herself. Although the volumes have increased, leading to printing on canvas the copies of the original work - to such high standards that makes it difficult even for us to distinguish the difference from the prototype -, any personalisation is still hand-written and painted by the artist herself!
